I was invited by the city of Leiria to design and paint a celebrative panel. The theme was all the 154 sport club collectivities that exist in the municipality. It was intended as a piece that was a tribute to associativity.
I started by making the stylization of all 154 logos from the sports associations. I designed them one by one, creating a more simpler version of each one, and setting a color scheme that would harmonize the whole panel.
After carefully mixing all my new images, I started painting the 2,4 x 2,8 m panel. I painted two identical tiles for each logo because one of them was a gift from Leiria to each association and club.

All 308 tiles were handpainted and cooked in my atelier and after two months of painting, the panel was born.
Its presents to the public took place on February 2022, at the Opening Gala of the European City of Sport, and since then, it has been on tour with some sports events.
It will be installed in the Leiria Stadium in the near future.
